As most of you know, we have been working for a couple of years on an old, slightly hard to navigate website, and we decided it was time for a much needed change. Not only did we want to make your experience browsing our website easier, we wanted to give you an idea of how we feel when we get to work with you all and make your stunning cakes. With a more streamlined gallery and a dedicated page to our wedding cake process, we hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget to enter our competition, which you can find at the bottom of this post!
We had the chance to work with some incredible independent businesses while building the new website and worked together to create a gorgeous video to show you just how wonderful making cakes really is.
Behind the camera was Vicky, who isn’t just a photographer and videographer, but is also our admin and digital marketing manager! She worked with us to help build the website by providing copy, snapping beautiful images of our cakes, and directing our video.

The wonderful Sam of Bath Bridal Hair and Makeup joined us on set to create a beautiful bridal look for our shoot.
With loose, tousled curls and hair pinned back by delicate flower clips, Sam captured elegance that worked well with Annabel’s wedding dress.
To complement the colour scheme, warm colours such as golds and light browns were used for Heather’s makeup to give her the look of a true glowing bride.

Boundless Blooms are the sweetest florist located just around the corner from our shop, in Weavers Walk. Our day isn’t complete without Kerensa popping her head around the door to say hi, and we work with her regularly on cake orders that require fresh flowers and foliage. Chances are, if you’ve had a celebration cake from us with fresh flowers, they came from Kerensa!
We asked Boundless Blooms to help us create a beautiful flower display for the wedding cake to sit on, which you can see featured above. We love her attention to detail and love the way this turned out!

The gorgeous Limpley Stoke hotel was the backdrop for our wedding shoot, from the impressive facade to the luxury decor to the interior, we used the Tudor Room to film the hair and beauty preparations, setting up of the cake and cutting of the cake, and the Georgian Room to film the groom getting ready. The hotel overlooks the Avon Valley is is surrounded by immaculate gardens, and is registered to hold ceremonies meaning you can get married and hold your reception in the same venue.
